My weird Good Friday dream: I saw a younger George HW Bush with a full head of light brown hair
had stolen a raft of papers -- when he was Reagan's VP? -- and is now desperate to sneak them back in, but he can't do it until some special circumstance changes... weird dream and weirder still it all happened in the canyon around the Getty Center. More to it than that but that was the centerpiece.
Only thing I know about National Archives and Presidential papers is the Sandy Berger-burglar story and that George W. Bush signed some strange Executive Order about Presidential papers and privacy that gave him the power to revoke even future Presidents' E.O.'s about the secrecy of his papers -- and I presume his father's.
The House of Bush Vs. Reagan, Palin, Tea Party, conservatives and Christian Americans. And I'm sure Lincoln would've mistrusted Bush as much as he mistrusted Andrew Johnson.
