Michael realized there was a CONFLICT OF INTEREST, when his lawyer also had a financial gain from Sony. When a lawyer profits from both ends of the negotiation of a contract, you can not trust that he is working in your best interest. It would be a very poor decision to have the same lawyer who will generate millions of profit for himself, draw up your will and trust and also make himself executor.
