Music Inc. is a new RTE programme to air later this year, produced by Tyrone Productions (makers of hit shows such The All Ireland Talent Show, Footballs Next Star, School Around The Corner).

Are you a huge pop music fan? Do you dream about someday working in the music industry? Well if you are currently a Transition Year Student now could be your chance!
Tyrone Productions are looking for eight music mad, ambitious and hard working students to take part in a new series which will see them get a ‘backstage pass’ to meet and work for some of the biggest names in the music industry. Our eight teenagers will be set a different music industry challenge in each episode, which will see them tested creatively, organisationally and socially in their attempt to ‘stay with the band’. Everything from creating a new piece of merchandise to sell at a major pop gig to setting up and overseeing a photo shoot for one of the UK’s most demanding pop stars.
You’ll get ‘access all areas’ to some of the biggest bands and popstars on the scene. Running the whole show will be Liam McKenna, from Louis Walsh Management.

The only qualifications you need are a passion for the music industry, a desire to learn all you can and a determination to succeed. You’ll also have to be in Transition Year in your school, sixteen years of age or older on March 31st 2013, have your parents/guardian’s permission to participate and a valid passport and be free to participate in the programme which will be filmed at various dates throughout April - August of 2013 ( a maximum commitment of 30 days if you stay in the competition until the end)
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT BE FILMING CONSTANTLY DURING THIS PERIOD, BUT INTERMITTENTLY. IT MAY NECESSITATE TAKING TIME OUT OF SCHOOL.
