Stronger, Bolder, Fiercer SARAH G! These were the descriptions that SARAH G LIVE promised us a year ago, did it live up to our expectations?

The show transformed Sarah into a Pop Diva. We adored her as Barbie/Nicki Minaj and party with her when she is the Rockstar Princess. She is also the Diwata that captured our hearts and the Diamond we wish we could have. And who will ever forget the Britney Spears opening that amazed Britney fans around the world?

Sarah G Live became the avenue for us to know and appreciate our musical heritage. OPM legends like FredieAquilar, PilitaCorales, Nonoy Zuniga, Basil Valdez and Jose Marie Chan were featured in the show. We were able to trip down memory lane with the songs of Joey Albert, Raymond Lauchengo, Chard Borja, Randy Santiago, Gino Padilla, Richard Reynoso, Lloyd Umali, ManilynReynes, Sheryl Cruz, Dingdong Avanzado, Jessa Zaragosa, Sheryn Regis and many more. It was also nice to see the lead singers of our favorite bands share the same stage with our Princess; Joey G, Marc Tupaz, Kean Cipriana, Yael Yuzon. We were also surprised when Sarah takes on rap with Andrew E, Gloc 9 and Abra. There were also the unforgettable collaborations with Ms. Lani M, Bamboo and Arnel Pineda. All of these feature the undeniable musical versatility of Sarah.

We are able to witness Sarah's transformation into a dance floor Princess with the G-Force and Gab Valenciano. They covered hip hop, lyrical dance, ballroom and even Pinoy dance craze like Otso-otso and spaghetti. She showed her MJ moves with Mr. Gary V, grooves with Ms. Ai Ai and shakes it off with Manuevers, UMD and Streetboys. Just like Sir Martin said, the Girl can DANCE!

The comedic side of Sarah was also featured on the show. This is where we giggled and laugh with Sarah and the Sine Gang. Joined by crowd favorites Ate Gay, KBrosas, Pooh and other veteran and new comedic actors, they spoof on popular shows and the epic Gangnam Style dance.

The Statement Song portion became a way for Sarah to express her thoughts and feelings through the songs she herself chose. We shared and relate to her different emotions; happy, love, heartbroken, empowered, hopeful. Oftentimes, if not all of it, the songs became part of our LSS list. Some of my personal favorites are Sarah’s cover of Wide awake by KattyPery, the Eraserheads classic With A Smile, Tuloy Pa Rin, Till They Take My Heart Away, Could Not As For More, I will do anything for Love, Girl on Fire, Sunlight, All the Love in the World, Vincent, Hiding Inside Myself, All my Life, If and How Will I Know.

Aside from entertaining us through her performances, Sarah G Live showcase a different side of Sarah through the Sige Go and Sarah Loves You. Sarah’s first on almost everything and anything, from cooking (JMC way), making parol, lechon, candle making, to sports and outdoor activities like kart racing, , football and riding a zipline. We also delight seeing her buying garments in an ‘ukay-ukay’, roaming around the Quezon City Circle and having fun in Subic Safari. Everyone was thrilled when she, together with KC, shared her first ever trip outside the country without any of her parent as companion. It felt like we traveled to Brazil with her. Some were even surprise that Sarah took this very bold step into independence and are proud of the personal growth she had achieved.
There were also moments in the show that touched us in special ways. Through Sarah G Live, Sarah was able to reach out to flood victims, cancer patients, orphans and even to an avid fan wishing to meet her in person.

We got ‘kilig’ with almost every guest co-host of the show. Different AshTeams were created, AshPao, AshMatt, Ashchong, AshBoo and the regulars AshSam, AshLo, LuckyCharm. The fans and viewers screams loudly over Gerald Anderson, John Lloyd Cruz and the most recent Coco Martin. Some even linked Sarah to Sir Chief (Richard Yap) and Daniel Padilla.
People very close to Sarah were also invited in the show. Sarah’s reactions when with her closest friends Christian, Yeng, Erick, KC and Ms. Judy Ann Santos were priceless. She is so at ease with them that we got to see her natural ‘madaldal’ and ‘bungisngis’ self. And then, Sarah turns into the protective and loving child when it comes to her parents, Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin.

Undoubtedly, Sarah G Live has become a part of our Sunday routine; a habit, a bonding moment with friends and family, a lifestyle. We are witnesses of Sarah’s growth and maturity as a performer and, to a certain extent, to her personal life.

Now, Sarah G Live will air its last episode on Sunday, featuring a Stronger, Bolder, Fiercer and Wiser SARAH GERONIMO, continuing her journey with greater confidence and faith. And that is something we should CELEBRATE!

God Bless your next projects Sarah, we will always love and support you. WE LOVE YOU!!!
