Urgent read, Squad of Kerbal Space Program have accused me of 'attacking' them and took their servers down overnight in a tantrum. The most unprofessional game developing company I have ever seen has gone and amazed me again!

(Woke up well after midday to a heap of messages from friends, so excuse the haste of this bashed together review. I'll have an article up and in distribution come Monday for any media interested in covering a company behaving infantile and embarrassing themselves, personally I think they're just jealous they have one tenth of the fan base I do; nah, but really, they've got some serious psychosocial problems going on and need to hire a PR agency to handle what their corporation says in the public sphere, as this will be a costly lesson for them in business practice!)

To players or Kerbal Space Program, and my regular readers:

Permalifebanned gamer @bashpr0mpt here, banned for profanity (I'm Australian, we speak like that, and it wasn't in the TOS then!) conveniently after giving Squad's game Kerbal Space Program--a space simulation game that is heavily reliant on the gaming community who mod and develop it with open license--I have recently found myself being accused by the unprofessional muppets at Squad of 'attacking' them.

They haven't said how, or why. All they've said is they're taking all their servers offline. It coincides with me making an account to try and reach out to them to see if they'd calmed down (I meant no insult, as you'd all know, reviewing, alpha, and beta testing games is what I do all day every day, so of course I'll give the odd bad review or challenging question!) only to be instantly banned, they must sleep with one eye open terrified of me it seems! But they're that sure I'm madhaxing them they even accused and slandered me publicly blaming me for any interruption of service to their entire twitter feed! I honestly wonder if there's any attacks going on or if they just thought taking down their web servers and punishing the gaming community might damage my credibility as I recently wrote a foreword for a piracy distro groups torrent of KSP where I challenged their unprofessional and downright idiotic conduct, and called them out for unconscionable profiteering off the community they are meant to serve by exploiting open license (note: clearly not for profit) which probably hit too close to home, with conservative estimates from the h.264 boys from #anon putting it at around the $1.7 million dollar mark that would--had they obeyed the license of release from their communities moddeds--be paid into the pockets of the coders who did the work.

The irony of this all is, since the storms on Friday, I've had no Internet access besides 3G through my iPhone. My twitter feed shows a very long frustrated conversation with my ISP, Telstra Bigpond, who can verify this if asked. But these twats decided to just go ahead and start some lunatic personal crusade against me!

Well, their challenge is accepted, and come Monday I'll have a chat to the news networks I syndicate articles through. Given I'm quite open about my demographic reach and my love of documenting and exposing Internet psychopathy I have a feeling that doing an article on these nuts will be fantastic fun!

So, Squad, you have until Monday to retract your statement, issue an apology on your website and any place you defamed me, and return the services I paid for you arbitrarily took from me for patently absurd reasons, or I just might take your initial advice you issued when I asked what coders who feel you infringed their intellectual property should do and lololol try and sue us we're in Mexico. Well, no, I'll be cashing in on the journalistic wet dream your galloping around on the drama llama has caused!

Honestly though, if you run a company like a pack of children I have absolutely no idea how the fuck you intend to stay afloat! This is the Internet, if you get butthurt over every critic and then start randomly attacking them, you're going to have a bad time!

Love,

BaSH PR0MPT

(Ps: It's nice to know you think about me so often, between the two times I've spoken to you guys I entirely forgot you existed. It's nice knowing someone is watching their forums like a hawk, and loves me enough to throw away their entire professional credibility by getting caught out lying to their paying customers like a pack of teenagers!)
