What the Oz wants, is. Headline on Cut & Paste today 'Remember when Albo sure the allegations against Mr Slipper were a fabrication'?' Quotes, then punchline that AFP charged Slipper. But Albo was talking about Ashby's 2012 travel allegations,, since withdrawn.

The summons is about 2010 incidents before Abbott assured Australians his travel claims were in order. So actually it is Abbott who must back down.

Or it would be, if facts had meaning.

I sent this email to the Oz:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Your Cut & Paste editor appears not to have read your own story on the Slipper summons. It relates to alleged travel expenses in 2010, and thus has nothing to do with James Ashby's travel rort claim of 2012, which he withdrew.

I look forward to your correction and apology to Mr Albanese.

For a clearer and more comprehensive picture on the summons I suggest your Cutter and Paster read the Australian Financial Review's story today.

Yours sincerely

Margo Kingston

PS: My apology for earlier rough draft version of this email sent in error while boarding a plane.
