This post is for all of those who are quick to judge @OfficialCharice

Everybody in the entertainment industry knows that being in the spotlight at a young age can take away precious moments of one's childhood. Child stars are pretty much forced to grow up faster because of all the extra work, pressure, ethics and environment. Then there is also the part of them having to maintain a image that is marketable in the eyes of their label / management. Imagine having to juggle between school, practice, and work while also trying to squeeze in time for family and friends. Yes, they trade those moments for fortune and fame, but deep down inside I truly believe that there are always times when a kid just wants to be a kid. Other big name stars have experienced the same dilemma, and many of them eventually break down or decide to leave the entertainment industry to pursue a more personal and private kind of lifestyle. Charice has been making appearances since she was just a few years old until now. She has basically worked more hours and years then most people her age. Her style and voice has changed consistently over the years, which is a natural part of the aging process. Everybody goes through this in life. Trying to find a style that fits them, only to find out that they dislike it and try something new again and again. Maybe Charice really likes this new style and maybe she's thinking of growing her hair back out. Whatever the case, I think she owes it to herself to make her own decisions for a change. (As long as those decisions don't put her in any immediate danger or cause permanent injury) Only Charice herself knows exactly what she wants in life and in which direction she wants her career to go. Our only perogative is to decide wether or not we want to go along for the ride and support her. Everybody seems to have a different image of Charice that they prefer. Family, fans, her label, and maybe even Hollywood in general. Who knows. But I can only imagine the feeling of having everybody around you trying to dictate your life, especially fans that she has so much appreciation for. After a while it must be hard not to get annoyed or lose trust in those people. There is no possible way one person can please everybody, and there is not, JUST ONE, right look for her. There is not, JUST ONE, right look for anybody. All of the biggest stars in Hollywood change their style on a regular basis. This is also what helps them draw the attention of the viewers like us.

As for her carreer. Charice did have a busy schedule for 2012. Here is a list of guestings that I can remember. (Please forgive me if I forget a few Cha) =X

- Did a photoshoot for Preview Magazine
- Had the airing of the "One For The Heart" Valentine Concert (Februrary 12, 2012)

- Won the Favorite Asian Act from Nickelodeon (April 1, 2012)
- Performed at the KababayanFest 2012 in Cali (June 30, 2012)

- The US launch of Here Comes The Boom, which she received high praises on. (Oct. 9, 2012)
- Interview on "The Couch" broadcasted live on TV (October 10, 2012)
- Interviewed on MySpace (Oct. 11, 2012)
- Performed at TOFA Awards in NYC (Oct. 27, 2012)
- Appeared on The Buzz, KrisTV, and ASAP Chillout (December 2, 2012)
- And was also mentioned in various magazines and blogs throughout the year...

To me this seems like one heck of a schedule. There are many other huge celebrities out there that make only a handful of appearances every year, and the only reason why you hear about them so much is because TV shows like TMZ, Extra and ET like to have reporters follow them and shove cameras in their faces so they have something to talk about every day. To even balance a international schedule like Charice did is absolutely amazing for a 20 year old. Give her some credit. Give her a break. Just appreciate what she has brought to the table and contributed to us. When any of you are going through hard times in life, how do you feel when your elders constantly pressure you with lectures and advice? In the end, you would really prefer being with a few close friends who will comfort and support you in making your decision regardless of what it is. If you made the right choice, you will celebrate together. If you made the wrong choice, they wil console you and find ways to make you feel better, and ready to tackle on the next obstacle in life. Nobody likes being told what to do. We are humans, not puppets. I know some people will agree with me and some will disagree. That's fine. It's just how life is. There are BILLIONS of people in this world, and if we didn't have different opinions on things life would be boring as hell. Just remember that just because you read something, it doesn't necessarily mean that you interpreted it correctly. It is extremely easy to misunderstand messages trying to be portrayed on social media, so please take a second to make sure you 100% understand what the writer is trying to say before you bash them. LoL I say all of this with the utmost respect for everybody. Spread love...not hate. Looking forward to a great year for Charice. Peace out~! #LeggoCharice2013
