My #Bad25 documentary impressions - No spoils!

I don't know if you guys expected me to talk about every little detail of the documentary, but my mind doesn't allow me to remember every little thing. I only watched it once! And I don't wanna spoil it for the ones who haven't watched yet, so I decided to write about my personal views on Spike Lee's documentary.

On Wednesday (Oct 10, 2012)I finally got to watch Michael Jackson - Bad 25. I was so excited I couldn't believe I was gonna watch it on the big screen! There was more people than I expected, to be honest. I think there weren't only MJ fans in the audience, but also "regular" people who are interested in Michael Jackson, the legend, and in the music industry.

The documentary blew my mind. I swear it went beyond all of my expectations - and they were high! First of all, Lee did exactly what I expected: focus on the art.

They explored the process of the album creation, and talked about each of the songs! Each of them! They talked about the demos, how the songs were recorded, how Michael and Quincy produced them, how they were chosen... How Michael behaved in the studio... ♥

The short films were also the highlight of the documentary. We get to know how each of the ideas emerged and how they were produced. And also how Michael behaved during the rehearsals and sootings ♥

Of course, Michael's presence is strong during all the production process.

We get to see never-before-seen footage all the time throughout the documentary. Yeah, repeat with me: ALL. THE. TIME!

Bad album backstage - That's the idea!

Besides watching lots of rare things, we also get to LISTEN to things we never did before!

Bad Tour isn't really explored that much, but I think it was enough.

Gosh, and I can guarantee you guys will see tons of MJ's smiles and cuteness :')

Most of the people chosen to be part of this amazing documentary just made it even better. You guys gotta pay attention to every word which comes outta the mouth of the ones who worked with Michael during those times. It's precious! Lots of new info!

But don't think it's a completely serious and technical documentary about the greatest entertainer ever and the music industry. They don't get into Michael's personal life* (Amen to that!), but reveal lots of FUN facts about his work and his adorable personality. You'll laugh and giggle several times while watching it, I promise!

There's one sad moment I didn't enjoy and found unnecessary... :(

Oh, and don't you dare think Michael didn't speak about his own album! ;)

These are some of my impressions. It's hard to describe everything I felt because, you know, feelings are feelings...

I hope you guys enjoyed my personal review - sorry for choosing not to reveal details though. I think if you read my opinions and my feelings without knowing exactly what you'll see in the documentary, will only make you even more curious and looking forward to watching it. THAT'S THE IDEA!

So every MJ fan on this planet MUST watch it. Yeah, MUST. It's not even a choice, okay? If you love Michael as a man and an artist, you have to watch Spike Lee's Michael Jackson - Bad 25! You'll only get to know him better and fall in love with him all over again. Plus, you'll get even more mesmerized by his brilliance and his vision.

And I also recommend it to everyone who's a music lover. You'll learn a lot about music industry and about its greatest genius!

p.s.1)* There was one offensive remark made by someone I don't know - because they weren't showing the man's face while he spoke, but Michael's images - saying he was a guy trying to be white but who loved African culture. Sorry, I had to reveal that. There was no mention to vitiligo though. BIG MISTAKE.

OH, you didn't think I was gonna forget Justin Beaver, did you?

p.s.2) He showed up 3 times saying irrelevant things, and I chose not even to look at him. But you know what happened every time he showed up? The entire audience started complaining with "boo's" "ew's" and "get outta here's" LMAO I SWEAR.
