@JLBSportsTV49 This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone in the NFL. I remember watching the Giants first preseason game this year in Jacksonville. Jaguars were up 32-31 with a minute to go. Giants were driving, and with less than 10 seconds to go, Ryan Perrilloux was (correctly) called for an illegal forward pass. The NFL rules state that if that penalty occurs with under two minutes remaining in a half, a ten-second run-off must be enforced. It would've ended the game. The officials, unsure of the rules, didn't enforce the run-off and gave New York an extra play. While the Giants didn't convert the Hail Mary, they were given an extra chance to win that they shouldn't have gotten. Right then and there people began to realize that these refs could impact games. The fact that the NFL allowed this to happen screams incompetence of the highest order. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for letting it come to this. Simple as.
