CONCUSSION NEWS: It's been roughly four weeks since my latest head injury. This is the first time I'm addressing the topic publicly since the injury and I wanted to update you all on my prognosis and progress.

This latest concussion was my third in roughly six months and just like the ones before it hasn't been easy. I've met with numerous physicians, experts and even fellow professional athletes discussing concussions the last four weeks. After all the meetings and through the knowledge I've gained it is in my best interest to take time away from football for a while. This is only temporary. It's a very serious injury and I need to make sure I don't put myself in any more situations where there is a chance to get hit in the head. However, I will 100% be back next season! If anything this will only make me stronger. I have always welcomed challenges and won't back down from this one. I am a firm believer in the thought "everything happens for a reason" and I know the time away will only strengthen my passion, love and desire to be the absolute best goalkeeper possible. I am able to work out in the gym, ride the bike and shorty will be able to partake in individual goalkeeping sessions.

Watching the squad that last few days at training has made me realize how much I love my job! How many people get to say they do what they love for a living every single day. I know how blessed I am to be a professional athlete and never take it for granted, EVER!

I want to thank everyone who has sent messages during this difficult time and thank everyone for their love and support. I can't wait until next season when I am privileged to step on the pitch again in competitive action. Until then God Bless and as always, Follow Your Dreams!
