SYNOPSIS:
At 2AM today, the Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 330km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.4°N 125.2°E).

FORECAST:
Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over Northern Luzon which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest to West will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest to West with slight to moderate seas.
