AAA TV 8/12/12 Thoughts: This was the second half of the Queretaro taping and while AAA has had better overall shows this year, this may have been the best standalone episode of TV. Mini's started it off and had probably their best match of the year! Dinastia was killing it! The guy is such a joy to watch. Dorada was also pretty great and is finally developing chemistry with Mini Charly. His 450 ringpost dive was nuts! Octagoncito was also on fire including doing a crazy slingshot roll-up spot. Finish was CLEAN and they did the DQ worthy stuff post-match. What a novel idea! Next up was the debut of the INFERNO ROCKERS! A gimmick that is 100% total AAA! Crowd seemed to be into them. I'm sure Semental/Decnis are 2 of them and even though the 3rd bumped like Mortiz I guess it's Tito Santana. The new Alebrije/Cuije also debuted here. Alebrije looked average. Cuije is chubby and bow-legged! WIN! He was really fun! Match was fantastic as you'd expect with those rudos and Aero Star/Fenix. Too many amazing spots to list. Good to see the debuting rudos go over clean. Main event was also good mainly thanks to Chessman/Gladiador. Chesssman has been in killer mode lately. He clocked Elegido with a chair during the entrances which makes it two weeks in a row! Rudos dominated but then sold for the tecnicos and then there was a huge dive sequence full of tailbones being shattered! After making 3 great catches Chessman joined the fun and did a springboard moonsault off the top rope! It's amazing how gutsy guys are when Chessman is around. In fact this entire show is a great example of how to base properly. Between Semental, Chessman and Mini Histeria it was a clinic. I don't want to get too nerdy but watch the spot where Semental tosses Aero Star up onto the top and catches him coming down. He spreads his arms out to touch both ropes to make sure he is located in the right spot for the toss and all he has to do is turn around for the catch. Stuff like that is genius and gets such little respect. Same deal with how Chessman positions himself in the ring so he's two spots ahead of everyone else. Anyways nerdy rant over! Get this show!
