Why do people assume Fareed Zakaria's plagiarism was the work of an intern or ghost-writer? If you read the redline in the link below, you'll see that this is the work of someone who had enough shame and self-awareness to know he could be caught -- there's too much art in those small changes -- yet also enough grandiosity and self-delusion, born of success, to think he could get away with it. I just don't think an intern -- not even Monica Lewinsky -- would have that kind of gumption.
