Donghae's father's last letter to Donghae
To: My son Donghae
Donghae-ah, my son Donghae-ah
My dearest son Donghae-ah
Dad is so fortunate, because you are my son, and you've already become a star
Really I am so fortunate
You would call me often and ask
"Are you doing well? Is your body well? and...sorry, I love you"
Donghae, when dad sees you on TV, without knowing I'd put my hand on my chest
Maybe it's because dad loves our Donghae too much

But your grandpa was against it
So I let go of that dream in Seoul, and brought your mother to Mokpo
Then gave birth to your hyung Donghwa, and you

When you were in Junior high, you told me you wanted to become a singer
Back then you were having fun and learning at the same time
But when you said that you wanted to sing

Watching our Donghae on TV

Note: While translating this the tears kept falling. Donghae said "I still have my dad's number on my phone, when we win an award, I want to call him, and hear his words".
