@CuckooBert: Here's my Adam concert/M&G recap!!! :D

So Friday morning I got up early at like 5:30am cuz the radio station said that they would announce the winner of the contest at around 7am! So I was waiting and waiting and by around 7:30am I was sooo nervous and had HUGE butterflies in my stomach, LOL! Then when I was finishing packing for the drive to Des Moines, IA that morning I got a call from an unfamiliar number at around 7:40am!!! It was the radio station calling and one of the hosts asked me if I had entered in a contest to meet Adam and I was like yeeees! And then the male radio host said that they were calling to say I got 2nd place, LOL! And I was like NOOO! And then the female radio host told me that he was kidding and I actually won! And I kept saying OH MY GOSH and I'M SO EXCITED!!! LOL, and then after I hung up I was crying hysterically for like a half hour and called my sister right away after the call and was crying and trying to tell her about how we won!!! And then my sis, mom and I were all crying and crying, LOL! Then I heard the radio station play my phone call live on the air and I started crying again, LOL! I had to redo all of my makeup after that cuz it was running all the way down my face, LOL!!! Oh and the radio people told me that they would call later with the details! So then an hour later another radio person called telling me about where to pick up our VIP tickets Ash and I also won! My mom and I had originally planned on leaving for Des Moines around 8 or 8:30 but didn't get going to around 9:15 because of all the excitement!!!

So once we got to Des Moines I picked up our VIP tix and then later that night had dinner with around 35 other glamberts which was fun! :D And also that night me and Ash and our glambert friend Megan (@Misty_Glambert) scouted out the venue for the concert! After dinner a radio guy finally called me with the details for the M&G! The next morning Ash, Megan, and I got to the venue around 7am to make sure we'd get super good seats for the concert! The doors opened around 12:30 and we all ran to our sections (my mom and Megan were in the General Admission section, and Ash and I were in the VIP section)! Ash and I got FRONT ROW and my mom and Megan were front row for the GA section! :D Next we watched the Spazmatics, Green River Ordinance, Ryan Star, and Hanson!

Then it was 4:30pm right before the Adam M&G was SUPPOSED to be at 5pm! So Ash and I ran over to where we were supposed to meet the radio people to take us backstage! XD HOWEVER we ended up waiting an extra 2 HOURS for our M&G! Some of the people in the line for the Adam M&G were saying that they heard some of the radio people say "Adam was being a diva and having a fit and pouting backstage. And even after they told him his fans were waiting he didn't care." OMG, when I heard someone say that and when a lot of the supposed "Adam fans" were believing that Ash and I stepped up and said that although we've never met Adam we KNOW he wouldn't ever do that and that he really loves his fans! That kept them quiet for a little bit! :P While we were waiting for the M&G, we missed Matt Kearney and Neon Trees' performances, but we could hear them and sorta see them from where we were waiting! Then we FINALLY got to go wait backstage and we saw Adam waiting outside the M&G tent! When he went in it we didn't get to go in for another 30minutes! We found out later the radio station peeps were interviewing him! While we were waiting some radio station staff told us SEVERAL times that there will be no taking pics of Adam except the one they take for us or any signatures! :(

So then Ash and I finally got to the mouth of tent and saw Adam up close-ish and OMG, he took my breath away!!! I couldn't BELIEVE he looked even MORE GORGEOUS and HANDSOME in person!!! XD He was smiling and greeting the other M&G winners, but none of them that I saw said anything to Adam! :O They just took their pic and left! :O At this point Ash and I had decided what we wanted to say to Adam and had been kinda chanting it in our heads so we wouldn't forget! So when it was our turn I walked right up to Adam and said "It's very nice to meet you!" and Adam then extended his hand and said it was really nice to meet me too and shook my hand! XD Then I stood next to him for the pic and Ash followed behind! I then told Adam that I was really happy he came back to Des Moines and he said "Oh yeah, the bridge!" I was soooo EXCITED to hear that he remembered the Walnut Street Bridge concert during the GNT that Ash, Megan, my mom and I also went to! XD That concert was INCREDIBLE!!! Then we took the pic and I barely remember it at that point because I still had stuff I wanted to say to Adam! XD Then after the pic Ash told Adam about how we won a glam photo contest for this M&G! Then I asked Adam if he wanted to see our winning pic! And he said YES! So I showed him it from my phone and he said he loved my yellow and black striped eye makeup! XD And I told him that I was thinking about wearing that eye makeup for the concert, but I heard it was gonna be kinda hot out and he agreed and said with the rain it might not have worked because of that either! XD And then the radio people kind of told Ash and I we need to hurry up! :P So I quickly asked Adam if he was planning on coming out to sign stuff at the buses and he said he hadn't decided yet and I said that I really hoped he would! And then Ash told him we actually also won front row tickets and so we'd see him up front and he said he'd see us there then! And then I asked for a hug and he said of course and Ash did the same and said of course too! Then we thanked him and had to leave! XD WHAT A M&G!!! I'm just sooo glad I didn't clamp up!

Then Adam's set came and it was INCREDIBLE seeing Adam so close from the front row! He even looked Ash and I right in the eyes a couple of times!!! XD Then since Ash and I had been waiting for Adam for a while earlier for our M&G we saw how some of the other bands would come out and sign things for fans right after their sets (Ash and I got signatures from all of the Hanson guys), so we RAN with Megan to the fences where lots of other glamberts waited for Adam to come out and he DID about 20 minutes after we got there! I got him to sign a new poster Ash and I had bought at the concert and also my Trespassing CD! Ash and Megan got their Trespassing CDs signed too and some other things!!! Man, the crowd waiting for Adam to sign stuff was INSANE compared to the amount of fans waiting for the other musicians!!! But I wouldn't expect anything less from the glamberts! Then the 3 of us ran back to elbow our ways back to our spots to see Train perform!

Then we went to Perkins for a midnight dinner cuz we all didn't really eat anything all day at the concert! XP The next day Ash, Megan and I went to Walnut Street Bridge where Adam had his Glam Nation concert 2 years before and took some pics on it! UFF DA!!!!! And that's all I think!!! LOL, I understand if you don't wanna read all this, but I just thought I'd let ya know all the details anyways! ;)
