I think how to reach Conservatives is to first get them to realize their myths about "evil liberals" are false. When we calmly, rationally show them that we are intelligent, caring people, that starts to crack their ideological facade. Then the truths that we tell can start to enter into their consciousness. It is a long process. Each one of us just plants a seed here and there and slowly over time it will work. It wasn't one or even two events that woke me up from my childish Conservatism, it was the slow drip of reality that did it, and people who cared enough to keep talking with me, and showing me the truth about themselves. @billjonesphoto
