Fans in France have been mad and are still because you have to know there was no mention before the ticket sale, that the Olympia gig would be shorter than other MDNA TOUR dates...
We are not disrespectful. But fans have been fooled, probably by management, surely by Live Nation!
Price range was 89€ to 270€, more expensive than other MDNA show. For me this was justified because this was presented has an intimate show. But intimate does not mean SHORT !
Liz Rozenberg made the mistake to say that it was supposed to be like that, but trust me, IT WAS NOT! We have all the proofs.
1st : Iconers (members of Madonna FanClub) have received a mail announcing a new MDNA Tour date @ Paris Olympia (not a promo showcase)
2 : the name of the show was "MDNA Tour" until 26th july. The show was SOLD OUT from 20th july. The name of show has been strangely changed to "MDNA Special Club Show Olympia" on 26th july morning. This new name has taken place on all sponsors-site (YouTube, Etc.)
3 : This "show" still appears among the different MDNA Tour dates on official pages whereas Liz Rozenberg, Madonna's publicist said it was always supposed to be a short show ! That's a lie : we fans have proofs, they don't.
4 : Now they also say MDNA tour could not be played on the small Olympia stage ! They were supposed to adapt the show to the stage. Do you think Edith Piaf sang only 5-8 songs before leaving Olympia stage ??? After all, isn't Madonna a singer too not only a stadium performer ? So why have they chosen this venue ?
The problem now is that TMZ, Guy Oseary and all other Madonna insiders want to make believe that all 2700 people in Olympia support Marine Le Pen French Far-Right Leader ! Can you really believe it ? Seriously ? In France, the land of freedom and equality of rights ? Maybe 5 or 6 people have booed Madonna during her speech, maybe those 5/6 people support Marine Le Pen, but the video everybody has been able to see on the internet are video showing the AFTER show.
So why have we all booed her ? Actually, we didn't booed the quality of the performance but its length. We have paid to see a FULL SHOW and have only see the trailer + bonuses. 45 minutes of show when you are in right to expect at least the same length as other MDNA tour dates, that is ROBBERY!
So what TMZ called a riot is due to unexpected short length.
We now do believe that Madonna always have planned to do only a short show, but what maybe she do not know is that the advertisements DID NOT NOTICED ANY DIFFERENCE with other MDNA TOUR dates.
What is sad is that fans are REALLY treated like dogs : no official apologies ! I am a Madonna fan for 26 years, saw 12 times live, but this lack of respect is really stincky whereas Madonna wants to promote the contrary. Madonna is the best, but fans are disgusted by her management behaviour!
We think the problem was created by LiveNation (France) that has not specified this would be a promo 45 minutes showcase. They seems to be risponsible of all this, but they don't want to admit for now...
Now the image of Madonna is very bad worldwide and something has to be decided to fix it! Isn't that what Madonna said during her speech ? If so : her management have to fix it instead of telling lies.
In France, we still love her but a quick communication and refund is expected...
To conclude, Thanks for your attention but Don't blame us ! A lot of people have seen this mini show free on the internet and have not paid and been fooled. The only that are to blame are the responsibles of all this: management and Live Nation that Don't even dare to admit their mistakes.
I will attend Nice, France show, I can't wait to see MDNA full show in my hometown, but hope it will be full-length this time !
And do not think I am no longer fan!
