Hello!!

It's been a while since the last time I blogged here. I've spent the past eight weeks away from LA – five weeks in Finland and three weeks in London. whew! Now I'm finally home and ready to continue Sauli's Hollywood blog!! yay!! :)

It was lovely to spend summertime in Finland, see my family and friends and enjoy the summery Finnish landscape. I worked quite a bit, but managed to have some time off as well. I heard some live Finnish music, among other things. Five weeks is a long time, but I still didn't have time to do everything I wanted. I never got to spend time at the summer cottage, which I really wanted to do. I also didn't get rid of the winter furs [= go swimming in wild water], which I've been wearing for close to two years now. :) Next summer, then... And I won't need to eat a single slice of dark rye bread for the rest of the year. I ate so much rye bread my jaws ache. phew!

The London trip was phenomenal!! Words cannot describe it. Surrounded by my best friends, Queen and my love! Perfect! :) I can't say it any better than that. Big thanks to Brian and Roger!

I hope you've been enjoying Katri and me on the Finnish Tutka Road Show. hah!! A lot of work and mishaps went into the making of it! We had so much fun making the show for you and hope to be able to do another one in future. I miss my Tutka wife so much already, but we'll be picking up with the regular Tutka again next month!! :) We'd love to hear any new ideas you guys have, as long as they're not technology related... hahah!! Big Brother starts next month, so that at least will provide us with plenty of material for discussion and speculation.
