But, honestly? No one forced me. The Lizard's one of my favorite Spidey bad guys. I WANTED to do a Lizard story. So it was a no-brainer to place it on the schedule so it'd hit when the movie did.
If it were really nothing more than a movie tie-in cash-grab, we would've brought Gwen back too and stuck HER all over the covers-- instead of that super-red-hot property, Morbius, The Living Vampire. ;-)
