PLANNED TWITTER TREND FOR LENNOX MONDAY JULY 9th @ 10 AM EST! Please share and RT.
For people who can't be in NYC to protest for Lennox you can be here on twitter helping us to make 'Save Lennox' a WORLDWIDE Trend. Instructions are below. It is VERY important everyone do this exactly as written out to have the best chance at success with the trend.
The quick run down:
Everyone has to be on twitter Monday July 9th @ 10am EST to help trend. Or schedule your tweets in advance and those links are at the bottom of this message. If you schedule in advance be sure to set the correct time zone!
At 10am EST everyone will begin sending out tweets with 'Save Lennox' in it. Example tweet: The world says Save Lennox now!
*You are going to flood your twitter timelines so make sure your followers know*
Do NOT use the #savelennox hashtag -- this will not work!
Do a search for Save Lennox on twitter and begin manually RT'ing everything with 'Save Lennox' as fast as you can. Very important to get the trend successful!
Accounts have to be unlocked (not private) and have at least 10 followers to count towards the trending.

We are going to trend 'Save Lennox' (spaces and NO HASHTAG!!!) MONDAY JULY 9th 10AM EST (7AM PST)
If you are overseas and want to participate let me know if you are confused about what time to join in.
Below are the official rules on trending. The gist is that we all have to be tweeting the same thing (Save Lennox) correctly at the same time for it to work. If you're account is locked/private, you have to unlock it for your tweets to count toward the trend. No spam tweets of saying Save Lennox a bunch of times (in the same tweet) because it won't work or be counted toward the trend. Have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me(:
TRENDING RULES:
If you have a 'Private' Twitter account, you'll need to change it to 'Public' if you want your Tweets to count towards Trending.
Most of us have gone, or will be going, to "Twitter Jail". This happens when you tweet more than your limit in a day. So it's good to have some back up accounts in case you get kicked off twitter.
One of the easiest ways is help Trend is to search what we're trying to trend.
I.E. if we're trying to trend Save Lennox, you'll Search for that, and when the Search Results show up, just MANUALLY RT the ones you like. Do NOT click the RT button and assume that'll work bc it will not. Using programs like tweetdeck will help when it comes to manually RTing.
Continue to Manually Retweet/Create your own Tweets as fast as you can, until we are 'Trending', and then Please continue to Retweet/Tweet to keep us 'Trending'.
To see if we are Trending, scroll down to the right-hand side of your Twitter 'Home' page, and refresh the 'Worldwide' option, or any other options, to look for our tag
1. DO NOT SPAM! Your tweet should not (I repeat, SHOULD NOT) look like this:

THAT IS SPAM AND IT DOES NOT COUNT.
2. DO NOT DO IT BEFORE THE DESIGNATED TIME
If you start doing it earlier than the designated time ... it'll be pointless and it will not make trending topics, which is what we want!
3. IT ISN'T THE NUMBER OF TWEETS, BUT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE TWEETING.
The more people we have doing this, the more successful it will be!
4. UNLOCK YOUR ACCOUNT DURING TRENDING!
It will not show up in trending topics if your account is set to private! Just unlock it for the time being and as soon as you are done tweeting for the day/night, you can reset it to private.
6. DO NOT PLACE 'LONE' HASHTAGS
It won't be counted either! Add some sentences/words inside your tweet
Bad tweets: Save Lennox #savelennox
Good tweet: Belfast needs to do the right thing and Save Lennox!
