Cosmorion
[Pronunciation: Cosmo-rye-an / 코스모라이온 / コスモラヨン ]

The domain name and forum name "Cosmorion" was registered on the 30th June 2012. In losing the original Founder of AstroMAFIA (the forums previous name) we decided in creating a new name and a new beginning for the forum.

It was quite a struggle to come up with yet another name as AstroMAFIA was originally two separate forums merged together that were once known as Kingdom Prince & enchanteDNA.

Knowing that The Boss = The Boys of Super Space, we started off our renaming project by thinking of space/astronomy terms and words that we could possibly use in the new name of our forum.

Lunar, Terra.. Luminosity.. we went through an awful lot and when we started to put words together, discussing it over Twitter, a good friend of the forum came up with the idea of "Cosmorion".

Cosmorion is two words combined together into one; Cosmos (Cosmo) + Orion.

Cosmos
Definition: The Universe seen as a well-ordered whole.

Though we have not always had order in the fandom, I like to think that we are a kind of "Universe" of friends and fans who even in the hardest of times try to maintain the order/peace so that we can keep supporting our boys.

Our forums is also a "Universe" where fans from all over the world can gather, from Europe to Asia, to the Americas and Africa, we are all united as one on this forum to become the team of fans otherwise known as Masters.


Orion
Meaning: Orion is one of the most well known and most recognisable constellations in our sky at night. It is visible all over the world and contains some of the brightest stars. You may have heard of "Orion's Belt" this is part of the Orion Constellation.

We hope that this represents the brightness of The Boss and each of their different personalities and characteristics and also that they may shine brightly and be recognised and seen by everyone in the world.

The Orion's constellation is also important to our forums and to fans as for their 2nd Year Anniversary, we purchased The Boss a star named "Dearest" in the Orion Constellation. You can read more on that project here.


Pronunciation:
Seeing as when we first came up with the name, even some of our own staff had a hard time trying to pronounce the word we figured we would have to be sure you all knew the correct way of saying it, though I'm sure it won't need to be used in often in daily life, it's always good to know right?

We also hope to use these meanings and the idea of being linked to one another to design a whole new logo for Cosmorion! But this has yet to be designed so we will show you soon! :D


For those long time members of AstroMAFIA, we know getting used to the new name will be hard but we did it once and I'm sure we will do it again. I also assure you it will absolutely be the last time it happens! ;)
