“Just because we have autism doesn’t mean we can to amazing things”
One thing I love doing on my Carly voice facebook page is talking about amazing people who have autism and showcasing there amazing talents. Today I have a group of people I would like to introduce you too or reacquaint you with.
# 1. They call him Dr. Mad science and he is so amazing and incredible at what he does. His real Name is Jordan and he is 10 years old and has autism. He can talk out of his mouth and has a big love for science.

# 2. Ethan is six and is autistic, but that doesn't stop him from singing and playing "Piano Man." It's awesome and inspirational.

# 3. Ashley, 16 & Autistic, is learning to sing karoake versions of songs. Here is an example. She's reading the lyrics while trying to sing. She does better without reading the lyrics.

# 4. Siobhan turned 5 in late December, and she paints with her hands and fingers. Big deal, you’re thinking, right? Actually, it is a big deal. Siobhan was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 ½ . She is relatively non-verbal, and soon after her diagnosis, she began to eat only dry, crunchy foods. She cannot stand to touch or even come in contact with anything wet, slimy or squishy. things like yogurt & apple sauce are repulsive to her. But you have got to see what she can paint.

# 5. 15-year-old Nathan Pustka from Brenham can simply play and sing a song he hears on his Ipod. I think that’s enough said you really need to see it to really under stand what he can do.

# 6. Autism genius Jake was taking university courses when he was 8 years old and solving math problems that stump grown men. Jake has a full scalar ship at his university and has marks in the 90’s.

# 7. Marible Meador has Asperger's syndrome, which is an autism spectrum disorder. She wrote and directed The Curse of the Demon. The movie is about a demon, Cerberus, who takes possession of a girl named Toeboy. The only one that can save her is the fire Demon Calcifer.

# 8. Russell Lehmann is an autistic poet who resides in Nevada. In third grade he stopped going to school due to severe social anxiety. After three months, he was able to start attending school part-time. This experience repeated itself over the next two years. One day, in May of 2002, he had an extreme panic attack and stayed home from school. He was never able to go back to public school again. No one could figure out why this was happening. Russell took up poetry and his world opened up.

# 10. I’m saving the best for last my friend RJ. You might know his mother Holly Peete Robinson. RJ has a big shadow to overcome but he has proven that he can do it. RJ is a big advocate for autism and a intelligent individual. RJ has been a broadcaster on a children’s radio show with Larry kings son and Has made his voice shine.
