Chuck Anania is a roofer… NOT a cyclist. So why is he about to embark on a 500-mile bike ride through New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut? The short answer: he wants to change the world.

This month, Chuck, founder of the Roof4Roof project, will bike 500 miles to rally support for a campaign that will supply roofs for 500 struggling homeowners – “500 miles for 500 roofs.”

Roof4Roof, which started in Montclair, NJ, has already helped hundreds of people in New Jersey and South America with their roofing. The Roof4Roof objective is to provide emergency roofing assistance is provided for families in need, free of charge, for every new roof Chuck installs.

From July 16 - 29, Chuck's arduous trek will see him cycle across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Chuck only has one goal: to help families in need. He is no Lance Armstrong. He’s just an underdog on a mission to raise awareness. But will he be able to finish?

He Needs Your Support!
Readers can get involved in the campaign by 'liking' Roof4Roof on Facebook. The more more 'likes' from your state, the more chances your community has to provide emergency roofing for your neighbors. www.facebook.com/Roof4Roof

The local Mayors of each state are being encouraged to ride alongside Chuck and help raise further awareness for the campaign.
