My 2 cents about @kjothesmartass and Lynn Hundson's very low and disturbing Public Crucifixion of a 19 year old.
Let's get this straight, Michael Mazzella did what most employees do, he bitched about his "boss." A boss who happens to be an influential public figure, with a well known history of being unreasonably demanding of people, especially those in the service industry, and who is a recovering/former addict. Why does her addiction history matter? Anyone who has dealt with a former addict knows that in most cases (not all) they tend to have very dramatic mood swings, very hot and cold. Add Celebrity to that mix and those mood swings/ personality traits are almost always magnified. I personally believe that Kristen Johnston probably did snap at Michael, probably intimidated him, and made him feel like shit. I also believe that Michael may not have lived up to the expectations of the duties he was given when working for her, and he probably a tad hyperbolic about his treatment. I am sure much of her generosity was to make up for her treatment of him. Many type A personalities in her position of power feel they have a right to treat employees anyway they wish (i.e. jeff lewis) and then make it all okay with a gift basket, a car, a day at the spa, or in Michael's case, by paying his rent and expenses. Guess what? That doesn't make it okay. I don't believe he publicly betrayed Kristen, I don't believe he sold stories about her to gossip sites/mags, I could be wrong, I've not seen any evidence of this though. So why publicly destroy his reputation? Why do so after it became obvious he MAY be in an emotionally vulnerable state?
Why would someone in Kristen's position feel the need to publicly humiliate this 19 year old kid? The Answer, Damage Control. Not that any real damage had been done to her, but in the event his vague tweet about life ending, did actually bring about some dramatic events that could lead to some real damage, I guess she felt the need to take a preemptive strike in an effort to prevent any collateral damage. Shame on you Kristen *waves her finger* SHAME!
Now to Lynn Hudson. Lynn knew Michael was a gossip, she loved his celebrity gossip about Sonja Morgan after his very brief experience with her. Not only did she love it, but she encouraged him to tell as much dirt about Sonja as possible on her blogtalk radio show. This was before he started writing on her blog. I suspect she probably, as she pretty much admitted, tried to get Michael to gossip about Kristin on her blog, or to at the very least allow her to write a gossip story about kristin using the information he provided.... *taps screen* Hello, she has a history of this...and she has a history of plagiarizing other bloggers' work. I am sure Kristen isn't aware of Lynn's history of trying to destroy people who she once worked with, Or her history of having people stalked, photographed, etc etc etc. I can only imagine the conversation between Lynn and Kristen, I assure you, that's where the real manipulation took place.
For these 2 women (old enough to be Michael Mazzella's mother, one in a position of real power, the other with delusions of power) To publicly crucify this 19 year old kid, who MAY be suffering from sort of personality disorder,is absolutely outrageous. Lynn Hudson has sunk to a new low, and has managed to drag Kristen Johnston down with her.
