Okay, Monsters. Family. I have this dream. It involves all of you, 23 million (and growing). And I am so excited about it. I wrote a letter to Gaga, and her mother, but lemme lay it out for you on here in a more lax format.
Name: Little Monster Family Reunion
Date: TBA (depends on the amount of support)
Time: TBA (depends on the amount of support)
General Overview: I have envisioned a place where Monsters can unite and celebrate the love, generosity, and message of our Gaga. A place where everyone is family, and where all can join hands in a close knit celebration of Lady Gaga. The Reunion will take place in cities all over the world, and while I am the general overseer, the manager, if you will, of this event, I do need a group of devoted Monsters at each location to help me carry this out. (More on that later).
I want this event to be a place where all Monsters can gather and show off their talents. Whether it be dancing, testimonials, art, singing, etc. We all love and honor Gaga, and everyone who wants to take a moment to display that can. Because at the Reunion there will be no discrimination and all talents are welcome and appreciated.
I, personally, think its sad that people have been pushing for equality and acceptance for all humans for such a long time, and we still don't fully have that.
So, one of the goals of the Reunion is to get more people involved. Involved with: The Born This Way Foundation, Gaga, and equality. I want people to come and celebrate, yes, but I also want those who have doubts about the greatness of Gaga to come and witness just what she stands for. They will be able to see the miracles that Gaga has done and will continue to do in the future.
The cost of the event will vary by location. And, to be honest, I'm not sure how to fully pay for that, just yet. Open for suggestions! That in mind, I do not want there to be an access fee. Admission should be free and donations will be accepted, not forced, for The Born This Way Foundation.
Also, while mentioning The Born This Way Foundation I would like to take a moment to describe just what I plan on doing to help spread the message of the foundation. A pledge form will be at the main gate/table of the event and Monsters who want to join, will sign the pledge: promising to do everything they can to spread the word and goals. A bag will be given to each monster and inside the bag will be a window decal, moving advertisement (poster or picture), two bracelets one to wear and one to give, and a thank you letter, thanking each person for joining. I feel that if everyone can help just one person, the universe will be a more beautiful place.
Look what you've done. For the opening so many of us waited and waited just to see a glimpse of Gaga. That's devotion. Let's harness our amazing love for our Mother Monster and share it with the world.
Listen Monsters, you and I both know what it feels like when she gets on that stage and smiles at you. Your heart skips a beat. Total happiness. Let's have a celebration to honor our Mother Monster and showcase the greatness of the Little Monster Community.
