@violincatherine @Balen13 so I decided to kick off the whole donation idea and made a donation to @MakeAWish. This is what I did:
The card I chose was All-Occasion Card (Green)
There were 3 lines for a personalized message with a 53 character limit for each line. This is what I went with:
Line 1: In honor of the cast and crew of Community
Line 2: a donation has been made
Line 3: to the Make-A-Wish Foundation
The address I sent it to was:

30 Rockerfeller Plaza
New York, NY 10112
I also chose the donation to go to the Colorado chapter. And you can donate any amount.
It's an easy enough fan campaign, and it doesn't need a lot of effort from any of us to keep up. Actually, the biggest effort will be to get the word out to other Community fans. If this takes off, it'll be cool. coolcoolcool. If it doesn't take off, well, at least they got one donation from me :)
