#Bahrain This was my email to George Galloway:
Dear George,
I live in the UK. Always been an admirer of your work. I know you have supported Bahrain in the past. I've been working closely with Bahrain - initially supporting the medics by building this website http://www.doctorsinchains.org and
campaigning for their rights. However then I made friends with these wonderful people and really began to understand their suffering.
Now their national hero, a man of peace, Abdulhadi al-Khawaja (I know you know him) is on his 77th day of hungerstrike. His appeal was last weekend but they postponed it to next weekend - that's all they keep doing, postponing. He's stopped all fluids now and has prepared himself for death. None of us know how many hours he has got left - not many for sure. If he passes it will be a disaster for these people and a disaster for human rights worldwide.
I wrote more about him here:

Please can you speak out about this matter urgently in parliament. We have all been emailing David Cameron but I am not anticipating a reply, certainly not in time to save this great man.
Many thanks!
