I’m about to go on another Twitter rant! No more Mr. Nice MJ Advocate! LOL!

Over the last few months, people have not only dissed me as a person (for example, saying I have an ego because I gave a FAIR & OBJECTIVE review of Defending A King on Amazon),but people have been dissing my blog Vindicate MJ as well!!

A few months ago, I during what I thought was a respectful disagreement with some deranged MJ lunatic fan, and this person said that my blog “wasn’t very relevant”! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? (I will post the photo in another tweet.)

After all the work that me and my co-admins have done, posting over 269 posts since November 2009, and me personally uploading over 50 videos to Youtube with the help of my friend @LunaJo67 http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD5992F8C28529341&feature=plcp

AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET? If Vindicate MJ wasn’t “relevant” then we wouldn’t have, as of today, 668,903 all-time hits! If it wasn’t “relevant” then there wouldn’t be college professors assigning some of our posts to their students! If it wasn’t “relevant”, would highly respected MJ author Joe Vogel compliment us on our research? (I’ll post the photo of his tweet as well.)

I blacked out the person’s name who said that horrible thing to me only because I am above that person’s level, and I don’t want that person getting angry tweets and FB messages. Even though that person never apologized to me, I’m above stooping to that person’s level by revealing his or her name.

Second, I found out that there is an MJ blogger who posted this blog on their Tumblr account that questions my motive for defending MJ against religious haters and proving that he was a Christian: http://ohmyjackson.tumblr.com/post/19935540363/thankyoufortheparty-so-theres-something-that

They started off their public diss by putting Vindicate MJ in quotes, applying that the work that we do isn’t real or authentic, and then this person asks the question “Who the hell cares what religion he was or what he believed in etc etc?”

If you’re wondering why this person would ask such a question, he or she pretty much gives the answer in his next sentence: “this is an area of the fandom that i can’t deal with, that makes me feel very uncomfortable because i am not religious in the slightest and i don’t understand why his faith matters so much to people.”

The reason I did that series, and I will address this in further detail on Sunday when I do Catherine Gross’ Blog Talk Radio show, is that I wanted to refute all of the lies that were being said about MJ from different segments of the religious community, including the lie that MJ wasn’t a Christian, but was either Jehovah’s Witness, Muslim, Jewish, astrologist, atheist, a worshipper of Peter Pan, or a worshipper of himself!

The blogger who wrote this said that they are “spiritual but not religious”, so you would think that they would understand why it would be important to defend MJ, since he was also very spiritual (according to his bodyguards in Vegas, he read the Bible daily). And please notice how I proved he was Christian without canonizing or beatifying him, as some fans do! (If I did that, then I would deserve to be criticized!)

That blogger also accused me of slandering Latoya, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! I used Latoya’s backstabbing of MJ, and his eventual forgiveness of her as an example of MJ practicing Christian values. You have got to be a hardcore Christian to forgive Latoya for the seemingly unforgiveable public betrayal that she committed not once, but MULTIPLE times in 1993! Many of us as fans have said to ourselves "I would NEVER forgive my sister if she did that to me!"

That blogger also claimed that I used that as the only “proof” of MJ’s Christianity, but that’s also not true at all! I posted MULTIPLE quotes of MJ throughout the years of his love for God and Jesus, and more importantly, I posted quotes from OTHER PEOPLE who corroborated this, and oftentimes they brought up MJ’s spirituality ON THEIR OWN VOLITION!

What’s really hypocritical about this blogger is that if you look at his links for his resources (under the “educate” tab), he cites our blog not once, but TWICE! So obviously our blog has some educational value if he’s linking to us!

I don’t mind constructive criticism, and if someone didn’t agree with anything that I have posted about, they could have commented or sent an email, instead of publicly mocking me in such a manner!

If this person is going to question my motives for writing my series on MJ’s faith, then I can question his motives for doing a Tumblr blog that mostly posts the SAME photos of MJ that we’ve all seen a million times! What makes this blog any different than the thousands of other MJ fan blogs? From what I see, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

I have a third person that dissed the blog recently, but I will wait a few days before I respond (if I respond at all). This Twitlonger is long enough as it is, so I’ll stop here.

In closing, I am going to tweet a photo of an email that I received a few months ago from a reader who is a student and is using our blog as a source for a research project that she is doing on MJ. This email will show you just how relevant the blog really is!
I’ve been way too nice and mellow for the longest time, and some people have misinterpreted my kindness for weakness. There are a few other times when I have been PUBLICILY disrespected and just let it slide.

But no more!

I’ve been “Mike-like” for too long, and now I’m gonna start acting “Pac-like”, and call out ANYONE "Hit 'Em Up" style who disrespects me or my blog ever again! Me and my co-admins have put in too much work, and too much of our time, to have to tolerate this crap from anyone, especially other MJ bloggers who should have more respect for the work that we do!
