@EvilTroyAndAbed @Greendale_Love @MsDaisySteiner @SmoochyDaisy52 @Lightening__Bug @Balen13 @HardGeekLife @spinolag @ShutUpSDot I just posted this PR rant on http://www.avclub.com/articles/regional-holiday-music,66270/ (sort by newest first and you'll see it there.)

If you sign up for Disqus, you can rant back at me! If you prefer reddit, please let me know. I have no problem doing both, LOL.

OK, so now I'm trying to get the gang to come over on to this board with me, because I love it and wanna keep it active. Up for discussion today: anything silly we can do to get NBC Community into the mainstream media. I'm tired of bitches saying they ain't heard of our show, all right? Plus these Nielsen households rotate VERY frequently. There is an army of Nielsen recruiters who go door to door, 3-10pm, $13-17/hour. I'm dead serious. The households probably rotate every two weeks. We need to get our show into the mainstream.

All ideas welcome, but in practice, keep it legal and silly if at all possible. Maybe everyone is sick of mobs, so OK. Let's find other stuff to do, or if it's a mob, let's make it a KICKASS mob. Also, if anyone volunteers a huge party or event, we need to find a team to put it together. My busy season is coming up. I can always do small things, or large PR for big things.Ideas on the table so far:

1) BIGASS mob relating to @Subway, preferably in LA and involving the cast. (Zach once led a London mob to a Subway.)

2) @Jtabrys mentioned having a goateed lightsaber duel with @Subway sandwiches, in a large vat of @YoplaitYogurt

3) @GCCHumanBeing said we should all fly our E Pluribus Anus flags in our front yards

4) @Lightening__bug, @MsDaisySteiner, and MetropoLois all like the idea of doing something for charity. Lightening__bug was active with the #Chuck movement. She saw the big event they had in LA, where proceeds went to charity, the cast attended, and everyone had a great time.

4a) We could have an event where the proceeds went to one of @Subway's charities. Maybe not the Heart Association, since @Lightening__Bug said #Chuck did that already.

4b) My caveat: if we do a BIG event, that means we need a team to handle it. I have NO CLUE how to handle it. If we decide to do this thing, we could contact Subway to see if we could work with them. We could also find out what charities they support.

5) HardGeekLife suggests a GCC pillow fight reenactment, complete with uniforms.

6) You know that I once thought I should raise $100K for a Guinness World Record blanket fort party in NYC, right? And then there was the promo with Subway in the Greendale cafeteria at the beginning of March, so the #CougarTown + #Community = #Communitown weekly sandwich buy was born. And I allowed myself to remain a human being, Thank You Lord. It wasn't easy being in a position to have to raise that much money, and it's a lot for one person to take on for themselves. I'm still willing to do a big stunt like that, but we'll need a team.

7) There is nothing wrong with everyone across the world, taking over a paintball range in their hometown for a National Paintball Month.

8) I am willing to dress up as a sandwich if it helps anyone.

9) Maybe my ideas are silly, but who cares. We could have a bubble thon, blowing bubbles for charity.

10) Every single Fringe fan is super nice, and they make me look like a drooling 4 year old. They're having a #FringeCon, OK? www.thefringeevent.com

11) All my old ideas are at www.pinterest.com/violincather.... Of note: chalk graffiti or posters, connected to a google map (modeled it after Sherlock fan map).

12) If you wanna join the NBC Community Street Team, just say what show character you wanna be, and what pet you'd like, and you're in. No actual job pressures, promise! I'm Street Team Jeff, and we have a Britta and an Evil Abed!

13) Any mass fan action involving ad sponsors would be SO COOL.

14) Oh, I forgot. ShutUpSDot volunteered his services as a professional kazooist. I said we could all go to the Nielsen HQ in NYC, and kazoo "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch." This could be an interesting cross-network exercise with our other bubble show friends.

15) I'm actually studying web and SEO stuff for my personal business use. As soon as I learn a bunch of that stuff, I wanna start an NBC fansite and make it KILLER. It might be a leap and a struggle, but the end goal is to have a web search for "comedy" or "funny" point to NBC shows.

We have to balance stuff that WE want with what will actually get press and be amusing to the average human. OK, I'll tweet that this is on here. I'm sure I forgot some stuff. Say whatever you want, no ideas are too stupid or weird, and we can get the Street Team effort going. All bets are on that we're getting Season 4, sure. But our Nielsen figures have been so low lately that I don't want to leave anything to chance. #SixSeasonsAndAMovie!

Love,
Cat
