17 year old Anas al Halwani attended a demonstration yesterday in the Jouret Al Shayah area of Homs where he was filming, the protesters were soon attacked by regime forces who opened fire directly at them. Halwani was wounded to the leg, in an attempt to make it to refuge he was then shot in the abdomen by a sniper the explosive bullet punctured his left side then triggered on his right side.
Halwani was rushed to the nearest field hospital where 6 hours were given towards trying to save him. due to shortage of medical supplies the attempt was a failure and left Anas on his deathbed.

the syrian regime have made it very clear that anyone documenting their crimes is a threat and have not shown mercy when gaining location on them.
