Very rough translation of the IS article on the Liv documentary

In a new interview, American pop star Adam Lambert discloses what made him fall in love with his Finnish partner Sauli Koskinen.
In the interview, which will be airing on Liv on March 31st, Adam says he felt a very strong connection with Sauli from their first meeting. Adam had never felt like this before.
- I looked for love, and the right kind of a connection to another person, for a long time – I never managed to find it, Adam says about his history.
- I tried to get close to many people, and I've gone through a lot of heartache and rejection. I've been involved with people who didn't return my love. It happened to me way too many times, the singer tells Liv.
His life changed when he came to Finland for a show in November 2010. Sauli was having a night out in the same nightclub where Adam ended up after his gig.
- When I finally met Sauli, it was a true coincidence and we really hit it off.
Sauli is everything but the typical shy Finnish man, he says with a chuckle.
- Sauli is a great guy with a lot of energy. We get along really well and we have a lot in common, Adam says.
- Sauli is an extrovert and very comfortable in his own skin. Those were the first things that drew my attention to him.

There were some language problems in the beginning of their relationship, but even those added something to the relationship.
- Of course the language barrier was a bit challenging in the beginning, but it also made everything interesting and exotic for us both, Adam says in the 30-minute documentary airing on Liv.
Adam says he is very happy in his current relationship.
- I feel like for the first time in my life, I've found a great balance between my personal life and my work. I love it, and I'm drawing a lot of strength from it, Adam says.
- This is one of my first relationships that actually works. How well you get along with someone goes beyond nationality and age and all the other stuff. I believe our relationship is built on a very strong foundation.

We will also get to hear Adam's impressions of Finland in the new Liv documentary. Adam believes he will return to Finland at the latest when he goes on tour with the songs from his new album Trespassing.
