#leadluu @Robyn4Equality Hopefully you are aware that elections for positions on Leeds University Union (LUU) Exec are happening this week. The LUU Exec is made up of 6 elected students who work full time to enrich the lives of every Leeds University student.
DisSoc President and MatSoc committee member Robyn Brockie, is running for Equality & Diversity Officer. Our memberships comprise of a diverse range of students covering many equality and diversity strands - we are not ‘just’ mature and/or part time, we also encompass LGBT, international, postgraduate, student parents and more. Therefore getting the right candidate elected for E&D is vital for us…
Not only did Robyn singlehandedly set up DisSoc 2 years ago, she has a long history of experience working with widening participation and supporting the needs of a diverse range of students and we believe she is the best candidate for the job.
