Youth Hostel into Torture Center #bahrain
Bahrain is a small island in the Arabia Gulf "Persian Gulf" & from 14 February 2011 , Bahrain witnessed a series of demonstrations, amounting to a sustained campaign of civil resistance, in the Persian Gulf country of Bahrain. As part of the revolutionary wave of protests in the Middle East and North Africa following the self-immolation of Mohammed Bouazizi in Tunisia, the Bahraini protests were initially aimed at achieving greater political freedom and equality. This Revolution was treated with a brutal crackdown on the demonstrations in 16 march , lead to the death of tens or people & arrests of hundreds & sectarian crackdown on the Shia majority.
Human rights organizations reported that the detainees were tortured severely in a systematic way. And new torture centers were established recently.
One of these centers is "The youth hostel Center" in Sanabis , Seef Area .
Seef hostle 2 ; was opened on the 30th of march 2004 & was used at the beginning for the formula1 tourisim.

During the crackdown , this center was transformed to a hostel for the mercenaries & was used to torture the arrested protesters .

After exposing the torture stories in this center , MOI decided transferring the hostel to an official torture center that belongs to it , beginning with removing the banner "Youth hostel" and increasing the height of the walls to hide their crimes , in addition to build monitoring towards to control the area & the protests .

Many horrible Torture stories that took place at this center were reported , This kid was taken to this center for one night 7 then he was thrown in the yard in front of the center in a miserable way after being tortured.

we call for the organizations concerned for Youth Hostels to take stand & reaction against this & stop using the youth Hostel as torture Hostel .
