Ok, there's a lot of confusion going on about the People's Choice Awards. Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Clif Kosterman were all correct in their statements. Jared and Jensen could have attended the award ceremony if they wanted to, but they were not formally invited to attend because their awards were not going to be shown on television. They could have sat in the seats and watched the show, but they would not have been on the stage.
The Supernatural cast, crew, and fans are upset because Favorite Network Drama is a major award and People's Choice chose not to air it and instead showed Jared's and Jensen's acceptance speech during the red carpet segment on an entirely different channel.
