Dear friends. This is
MICHAEL JJACKSON'S RELIGIOUS ADVENT
Part 2

Last time Michael Jackson talked with you, he narrated about the time when he left the Jehovah's faith to understand the concept of religion with freedom of thought and mind.

Michael was disillusioned with the binding customs and traditions, he felt existed in the organized formal instutionalized form of religion. He felt that religions might be more ritualistic and limited due to its becoming a prey to a group of people calling themselves religious leaders, imposing their mind set of religious thought and philosophy on the peoples. It was indeed great injustice to limit God to the understanding of the few not allowing the rest to have direct interaction,a direct acquaintence with the blessed supreme energy, God Almighty.

Michael knew his thought would not be understood by many and misunderstood almost by all. He had to be very careful. He was a public figure and could not afford or be allowed to indulge in religious controversies. Michael also felt that it was no use to discuss his inner thought process with others. If he wanted to be acquainted with God on one-to-one basis, there is no need of outside involvement. It was simple to follow and apply.

The Jackson's are not religious. Daddy Joe Jackson was never a God fearing man. The thing he most fears is powerful people.God is faraway and they are much nearer, so fearing them made more sense to him. Katherine is religious but not enough to tell Big Daddy to follow any religious rules or let her do it on his behalf. Joe strongly believed that what man could do to make his boys successful, God could not, so why waste time with someone not really useful to them.

Therefore, the cross of religion was on Mama Katherine's shoulder. All the boys and girls were busy in career making or having secret affairs( secret from Daddy Jackson). Then there were gigs, paid gigs, promotional gigs, gigs as favour and opportunity gigs all the time. Joe Jackson's children did not have time for God, Kaput.

The myth of religious Jacksons is simply a marketing strategy. Katherine knew that after the gigs, when her other children were busy 'nesting' Michael would sit in his room feeling blue from all the hula he had to face at the professional arenas.

Katherine knew, in Michael she had a chance and an opportunity. So she moved in with her religious anecdotes and views. But after the Jehovah's fall out she also gave up pursuing her religious agenda with her children. She felt maybe Michael had lost the way too. Long story short, Michael had total freedom to understand God now. Particularly, when the world was at his feet and religion or God seemed more like an extracurricular activity.

Out of the Jehovah clan, Michael had brought with him God from there. Although, he understood that he needed a deeper understanding of the supreme being in front of whom he still had to and wanted to, fall on his knees presenting to Him a list of his wishes and desires. This was incredible. A God that was beyond human reason, sensibilities and capacity. Indeed a God well worth worshipping.

As told earlier, Michael was disillusioned with institutionalised religious customs. Therefore, he was not interested in becoming a member of any organized religious cult anymore. He wanted freedom of thought and this freedom can only be found in books. Michael turned to books to understand God and he meditated on what he understood from them or did not understand.

The world of Books is a kingdom of it's own. A Kingdom where thought rules and mind is allowed to expand. Ancient knowledge of all religions is found on bind paper. Thought philosophies of centuries preserved and presented to you with love and grace. .

Bible became the first Book of Knowledge for Michael. He would keep it by his bedside, read it, reread it and then read it again. He met someone wonderful there. He knew the man before as well, but this time it became a friendship for keeps. Michael met Jesus Christ in Bible. Michael fell in love for the first time in his life. Wow, what a man Jesus was. Michael know understood he had found his teacher who would help him understand, really understand.

Michael also knew that in order to learn, he had to be with his teacher all the time. He could not just have him in a religious book only. He had to live with him, eat with him, play with him, breathe with him. Michael looked around and saw that Jesus had chosen children to live in. He survived in children and children were his vessel. Michael knew his call was to learn and be with his teacher. So children became his guide and patrons and he became their pupil and muse.

The sadness and sorrow he had in him would melt away, just evaporate around children. Jesus Christ was Michael's teacher and his saviour. The thought of killing himself to rid of the emotional tangle within left him and Michael Jackson started to breathe and live, as if for the first time in his existence.

Neverland was Michael's haven. It was Jesus's haven too. It was a place where children laughed and played and Michael would sit with his friend there and they would talk to God. God was not a supreme being only. God was love, pure love. Michael was given a purpose of existence now and Neverland was the place where that mission began in its true form.

Michael felt now that he was almost complete. Joe was now like a distant bad memory and Michael was able to understand that he was not a product of the showbiz mafia but a man with a purpose. The purpose of spreading Christ's teachings and message of humanity and love. He felt he understood now. He felt he has reached. But then black energy surrounded the man and the reaction he faced at the hands of those that were around him made Michael Jackson realize, the journey of the inner continues. It was still a long way from home.

The years of 1997 to 1999 were tough on Michael. The years that established him as a hardened Junkie. He would sing, write, create and then he would take relaxing drugs and would sleep. He would sleep to forget, to survive, just to be able to continue living.Either this or madness. It was not a hard choice. Religion again disappointed him or maybe people with high moral virtues and religious ethics disappointed him.

He was a child rapist, a pervert, a vile satanic creature. Ofcourse he could not be a fellow christian. He was shunned by his community and by his country and by the media and the church and the politician and the priest alike.

A Hollywood creature of the night, a night prowler preying on innocence and all that is pure.Michael wondered again what he had wondered some years back; is religion a cage to capture the beast and kill him? Is it a process of understanding God and learning about Him or a cult that could pass judgement and verdicts? Is religion about truth or getting even? Michael was again lost. Shunned and driven out of the community of the virtuous, Michael Jackson was left alone to find a meaning to all that he faced and was made to face. He had to still find God. The journey continued.

Finding his destination. In Part 3
