Philly friends (especially the ladies), please be extra cautious when walking home. Tonight while entering my apt with headphones on, I was assaulted, punched in the face & knocked (back down) on the floor. The dude was light skinned African American with scruffy face, muscular build and a light colored ski cap. Having no clue what to do & scared shitless with him standing over me on the floor, I kicked and kicked and kicked and screamed and kicked more until he ran away, managing to steal my roommate's bag from the couch. Still shakey and can't sleep...just want everyone to be warned and please be extra careful. Lots of love.
