journey to the mourn:
on new years eve, the government of Bahrain ordered their foreign mercenaries to brutally attack protesters in the Island of Sitra, South Manama. 15 year old Sayed Hashim Saeed was killed by the mercenaries due to a direct shot in the head.. this video from youtube shows Sayed Hashim when he was found on the street and then taken to the hospital where he passed away: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQD0UbVBS5w&skipcontrinter=1
people were and still are angry because of targeting children, mixed emotions of grief and rage filled the cities and villages of bahrain, everyone was prepared for the mourn on the next day in the afternoon, the first day of the year 2012.
Security forces sealed the island of Sitra, no one what so ever was allowed to enter the island weather they wanted to take part in the mourn or not.
However, People were determined to reach Sitra, 2 marches head towards the bridge from the near by villages of AlEkr and Maameer, both were attacked brutally.

later on the small harbor in Maamer was attacked and the mercenaries seized control to prevent sea access to Sitra.
