'Teach me how to love'
Chapter 2 ~ *Amy’s POV

“So, what’s your name?” Zayn looked at me, and his gaze made me feel weak in the knees. I opened my mouth to say something, but I couldn’t make a sound. I took a deep breath.
“A-amy”, I managed to say, although I stuttered. Zayn didn’t notice my nerves and just smiled at me, which made me melt.
After he’d asked Joey’s name, which she told him without any problems, there was only one person left: my friend Tilly. Her hands were shaking and her eyes were moist. Zayn nodded at her, to declare it was her turn to tell him her name. She immediately grabbed my hand under the table and I pinched her softly.
“Just tell him your name”, I whispered. “Go on.” Tilly nodded insecurely.
“I’m Tilly”, she said with a trembling voice, so I smiled at her.
It seemed like Zayn wasn’t aware of anything: he just continued talking.
“Okay, thank you. If you could do me a favour, would you please sit back down at the same place you are right now the next lesson? Thus I’m able to learn your names.”
Right now I found it really stupid that we sat down in the back of the classroom, I could hit myself.
“Like every new teacher might do at the beginning of the school year, I want you to tell a little bit about yourself, and I also like to know what kind of things you’ve learned during English class last year”, Zayn said. He still didn’t pay any attention at the girls in front of the classroom, who were literally crying. That was silently though.
But what was Zayn supposed to do? Hug them and tell them they didn’t have to cry? Probably not, that’s a bit weird for a teacher.
“I’ll hand out a paper, so you can write down the most important things”, Zayn continued, he grabbed a few stencils from his bag and started walking around the classroom to give us some papers.
By the time Zayn walked along our tables, Tilly, Joey and me held our breaths. Zayn was literally breath taking when you watched him closely. I struggled not to yell at my friends, to be honest.
“There you go”, Zayn said and he put down three papers on our tables. At the same time he glanced at me with a wide smile on his face, which made my heart beat faster and my cheeks turned a little bit red. I watched Zayn’s beautiful long eyelashes and his brown eyes with those little twinkles in them.
“Thank you”, Joey said confidently. She wasn’t bothered at all: I thought that was pretty capable.
Zayn handed out a few more stencils and walked back to the front of the classroom.
“I’ll give you five minutes, and afterwards I’m going to discuss the things you wrote down”, Zayn said.
All of my classmates began to write, but I just sat there, staring at Zayn, who was engrossed in the map of the class with our names on it. Even from back here in the classroom it was unreal to see him in person. His hair, his face, his smile, his eyes, his clothes… Everything looked perfect.
As if he could feel that I was staring at him, he looked up and smiled at me.
“What’s wrong?” I turned my head around, but then I realized he was talking to me.
“Oh! Um…” I mumbled.
“Amy, wasn’t it?” Zayn said. I nodded and watched my paper, which was still empty. Zayn looked at me questionable, I guess he wanted me to say something now.
“There’s nothing wrong, never mind”, I said twitchy and I immediately took my pencil to pretend I was going to write something down on my paper.

Besides that little embarrassing moment, nothing special happened during class. Zayn just took our papers so he was able to read them later, because the lesson ended really quickly, since it had started that late.
“What was THAT?” Joey screamed. We were standing outside the classroom again: it was time for a little break. Normally we’d have maths right now, but luckily our teacher wasn’t there today.
“I’m not sure…” I said, with a frown on my face.
“Well I AM sure!” Joey acted a little bit hyper. “Zayn Malik is our new English teacher! The real Zayn Malik from One Direction! For a whole year!”
“Ssht, silly!” I took Joey’s hand to calm her down. “He is still in the classroom next door, remember?”
“Oops!” Joey laughed and she took Tilly’s hand also.
“Let’s go to the canteen together”, I said.
I stepped forward, but before I could even go through the door, someone yelled, which distracted us:
“OH MY GOSH, Maddie!”
My friends and me stopped walking and turned around.
Three girls from our class, the ones who were crying earlier, just walked out of the classroom. I moaned by seeing their extremely happy faces.
“Here we go again…” Tilly whispered and she rolled her eyes.
“Dramaqueens”, I mumbled afterwards.
“I just touched his hand”, Galina said, she was in tears. “I touched him girls!”
Maddie and her other friend, Sandra-Anna, took both Galina’s hands to calm her down.
“You’re so lucky you’ve touched him!” Maddie said with a wide smile.
I glanced at Tilly and Joey: we had to contain our laughter.
“It’s okay, babe, it’s okay!” Sandra-Anna said and she hugged her friend.
Right now Galina looked up and saw us. I knew they didn’t really like my friends and me, because we weren’t that popular like them, for some reason.
“What are you staring at?” Sandra-Anna said in her turn, to protect her friend.
I shook my head, but Joey already knew what to say:
“Oh, I’m so jealous you touched our new English teacher!” She said to Galina and she immediately turned around. And to us she spoke: “Come on, loves, I don’t need to see this hysterical stuff anymore.” Joey took our hands and we walked along the corridor, heading towards to the canteen.
