Note to SaaS vendors: You can't survive by just getting the order. To achieve decent revenues, you have to keep selling subscription renewals every month, unless your customer will die without your software. This can happen by spurring greater usage of your software, which often involves consulting and technical skills, which are not exactly your sales team's forte. Therefore, you need to make sure that your consulting and technical staff don't shy away from sales.
