My Rant On Season 3 - RIPPAH Stefan.
Okay. This episode may have been funny and sarcastic and intense but overall it disappointed me, so so much.
What the FUCK happened to all of stefan's relationships? It's like they all obligated! Seriously, what the FUCK. It's like everyone is Mystic falls seemed to forget that he basically had his soul RIPPED out from him. (No pun-intended) Everyone is acting like he's a random douche bag that deserves to be treated like shit.
I'll start with Elena. YOU WERE THERE, with stefan! You saw how hard he fought, and yes I get it, you're trying to be strong, but there's no compassion in the way you're doing it.
Second. CAROLINE. Um what the hell. I thought she was supposed to be like the new Lexi for him. He was there for her when she needed him, like a big brother. But in this episode? she didn't even mention him once! She didn't show that she gave a flying fuck about what happened to him, she was too busy ignoring him because elena was upset with him and her own problems.
Which brings me back to the whole "WHY ELENA" thing. Not to mention Bonnie (who I believe would have done some good if she talked to him) and Alaric, they were ALL acting like Stefan CHOSE this, like he wanted his humanity and everything he cares about taken away from him.
The whole "Vervaining and trapping" Stefan was all very well, and had good intentions, BUT everyone was only helping as a favour to Elena, to help ELENA. Once again. WHAT THE HELL, they all knew how much Stefan tried to be good, how much he loved them all, they were treating him like they didn't know him, they didn't know what a kind soul he ACTUALLY has.
FINALLY my last point. Damon. I can't even. I'm sorry but it's sad to say that Stefan does seem to love his brother more than damon loves him. I mean COME ON, Elena had to convince him to help her save Stefan? and this isn't even the first time.
Stefan has made it pretty clear he would do anything for damon. and he HAS, he put Damon above EVERYONE else. Above his Elena, Above his freedom, his SOUL. Stefan is like this right now BECAUSE of Damon, because he loves his brother, I don't care what people say about Stefan "always being a RIPPAH anyway and he was just lying to everyone about it"
Stefan worked HARD to get where he was and he gave that ALL up for his brother, and Damon? what the hell?! Some people may say it's because he's struggling with his own feelings and-morals-I'm sorry but that's bullshit, enough is enough.
Damon KNOWS how much stefan does not want to be this person, he can see that his brother is CRYING out for help and Damon has to be convinced by ELENA the girl who has been with them for a YEAR. What is that?! Damon is his BROTHER and he is ALIVE because of Stefan! because he gave up everything! And Damon gives up after what? ONE SUMMER.
How is that fair, Stefan found love and he had a life..and now he has nothing, Everyone treats him like shit and no one is willing to help him, they're all giving up! When Stefan has helped BONNIE, Helped ALARIC, Helped CAROLINE, Helped ELENA, Helped DAMON and helped the whole town and not once has EVER given up! He told them all to fight, and saved their lives.
Elena is the only one who is DOING it for stefan everyone else is doing it for Elena. I'd just love to see more effort for Stefan. *pauses; twitches; laughs* Okay! End rant.
