Many people have different opinions and or interpretations of the word of God. One thing though that cannot be twisted or misinterpreted - love! It is the greatest gift of all and the plot of the bible! In a nutshell, it comes down to love. There are so many scriptures about love. Romans 13:8 says "Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law", and Galations 5:13 says "You we're called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another" or Ephesians 4:2 says "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love" and quite possibly the most recognized and powerful scripture on love - John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life"! Love, love, love, love. Unfortunately as christians, we don't show enough of it when in reality, we should be showing more then anyone. I know I should be. It's not about pointing out who's wrong and who's right, it's about loving those we come in contact with. We're so quick to judge and to try to prove our point that somewhere along the way, we lose the most important gift from God - love. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone with the mention of a tattoo. Loads of love and equal amounts of respect:-)
