Football's economy is in bad a state as the national economy. How many clubs are in deficit (i.e. debt)? Why? Players are paid too much vs income. To try to justify it by saying players pay more tax is irrelevant - I bet they pay less of their income in tax in % terms than 99% of their fans. The authorities will kill the game as we know it. All that will be left is a super league. No lower leagues. No chances for players like you to come through the ranks Stan. @TSCollymore @CalvinBook
