The Cascio-Porte Tracks: Timline Theory

- - -

• Sometime before March 30, 2008, Eddie Cascio and James Porte record a batch of songs featuring lead vocals by James Porte

• On March 30, 2008, Eddie Cascio and James Porte copyright the batch of songs as "JPEC Collection 1"

• Sometime between March 30, 2008 and June 27, 2009 (a span of 15 months), Eddie Cascio, James Porte AND JASON MALACHI record an updated "JPEC Collection" featuring LEAD VOCALS BY JASON MALACHI

• On August 26, 2008 (5 months after the original "JPEC Collection 1" is registered), Jason Malachi possibly refers to doing work on the Cascio-Porte songs when writing "I may be doing something with MJ in the future. At the moment, it's kind of up in the air, but I'll keep you posted." If this is indeed what Jason is referring to, recording the updated "JPEC Collection" would obviously be narrowed down to sometime between AUGUST 26, 2008 and June 26, 2009 (a span of 10 months)

• Sometime in the second half of 2009/first half of 2010, the Michael Jackson Estate obtains "MJ Song Book 2009 #1" and erroneously verifies it as the work of Michael Jackson

• On June 27, 2010, exactly one year after "MJ Song Book 2009 #1" is registered, Jason Malachi performs at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's "Michael Jackson Tribute Weekend" and covers a number of Michael Jackson songs

• Having appeared to have gotten away with falsifying Michael Jackson songs, in an October 1, 2010 article, Jason Malachi brags "if I wanna sound like Michael, you won't know the difference [between me and him]. If you want me to get Mike-ified, I can do it."

• Sometime between September 1 and October 18, 2010, doubts about the lead vocals featured in "MJ Song Book" are raised behind the scenes by Taryll Jackson, Randy Jackson and possibly others

• On September 27, 2010, Eddie Cascio registers a photograph (or photographs) titled "MJAngeliksonStudios," which may be an image (or images) of Michael Jackson in Angelikson Studios, and may be intended to reassure skeptics that Michael recorded "MJ Song Book"

• On November 19 or November 20, 2010, Eddie and the rest of the Cascio family appear on "Oprah" for damage control. If celebrity reporter Roger Friedman is to be trusted, it's at the request of Sony Music
