One of Bahrain newspapers has published a statement on the name of Amnesty international on it's issue today 2nd September 2011.
We suspect that this statement is one if the regime fabrications related to the political situation in Bahrain.

Hence we would like to bring it to your kind attention, either for confirmation or denial of the statement.
We would appreciate if you can issue a statement from your side commenting on the article, confirming or denying it, so it becomes clear to the public the positions on Amnesty International with regard to such article.

Amnesty international
Some parties in Bahrain are using kids in protests to realize political gains


Amnesty international confirmed that some parties in Bahrain has used kids during the recent protests to realize political gains. Amnesty International called for respecting laws and regulations which prohibits using kids as human shields in any kind of conflicts, which are prohibited by all national laws regulating human rights in a way which hurts their childhood and use their innocence.

Amnesty Internstional considered people doing this and encouraging to engage kids in protests, demonstrations and strikes even if in a light way, is committing crimes and violating the moral values of Islamic religion.

The orgainization calls to avoid subjecting kids to any kind of violance that might affect their physical, mental, or academic health in accordance with International laws and conventions on Child Rights
