OK I have to vent... Now I am pissed. There has always been a running joke on comedy shows about skinny model and not eating... I get it... those have been jokes that have gone on for years and years... But does it make it ok? No, it does not! But a show that had a star that had an ED to do it is beyond disrespectful! And a show that only exists because of that star. How could the writers, who worked with her before, even venture down that road? I feel for the actors who have to do what they say..
Ok, we all know Demi went to treatment. We all know she has bipolar disorder and she suffered from self image issues and she cut and she had an ED and we know she hit her backup dancer. And you know that too Disney! She did what most refuse to do. She came clean. She owned up to it because she knows there are young fans that love her and want to be her. Did she go against your grain? Did she not tow the company line and hide all the deep dark secrets? God forbid a KID in the big spotlight would speak out and try to help people after she came out.
When she entered treatment you washed your hands of her and you act like she didn't exist in the first place! Well guess what? She did exist and she does exist! You figured "what the hell.. we will write her out and move on". So you did and this is what you came up with? The only people who watch that show are her fans that still want to embrace a part of what she did. They watch in in the hopes they will see her on there again. Well you pretty much just pissed them off. Good Luck to you!
It just burns my fat ass that they would just turn their backs like that. It is typical of them though. As long as the bank account stays fat. Glorifying anorexia and that behavior is sickening. There are kids watching that! If it were real comedy you would not need any of that! But there is no comedy there! That was lost when you turned your back on Sonny and you would not wait a couple months! Hell, even "Two and a Half Men" cut their season and regrouped. You could not do the same? Had to keep the cash rolling in now didn't you? Well good luck with that! You stand NO CHANCE Without SONNY and you just proved why!
You forget that she has fans. Oh she has haters too but she has millions of fans all over the planet! Her fan will fight and fight and kick ass for her 24/7/365. Her fans made her song number 1... not the label, which is owned by Disney. They gave up on her too. I can hear them now, "Just let her do her last couple records and be gone with her... she won't sell..." Well I hate to pop your inflated ears but she will. She is going to defy your weak perception and she is going to prove you all wrong! You will someday regret your lack of effort since it is about money right?? and she is bank!... But consider this one person here offended by your show, your network and your label. I will support her but I will NEVER support you!
