It can be easy to confuse statistical correlation & cause/effect. What causes low levels of achievement in the class room? Where are the correctable opportunities?

Class Size tracks inversely with achievement & you can affect class size by changing the number of teachers and/or the number of students:

- Does teacher shortage relate here? Are we attracting teachers away to other professions?
- Are there ways to partition classes into optimal size without the constraint of brick and mortar rooms or bussing?
