Okay. I'm going to address the @realscratchpad DCnU podcast thing and how this will flow.

On the weekend before the relaunch of the whole damn thing, 4-5 panelists and myself will try to get through all the talking points about said "thing" the best we can because there might be a time limit (hour-90 minutes). Here's the topic breakdown:

GENERAL IDEA - is rebooting a good idea? Could there have been an easier way to do the digital thing than rebooting? Flashpoint will be addressed here.

SUPERMAN - pretty much his solo books and/or Superboy and Supergirl books. Clark being single. Clark being kept in the DCU. The battle armor. The shirt and jeans look. The whole "5 years" thing.

BATMAN - how the reboot means pretty much crap to him and his books except that Wayne back as Bats, Barbra can walk again (let alone be Batgirl again), and Batman Inc readers have to play a short waiting game for more issues. Also, all that continuity is less than "5 years"

GREEN LANTERN - Again, status quo being summed up in less than "5 years". But with the addition of Sinestro being a Green Lantern again and Hal Jordan's status in the hobo hierarchy.*

JUSTICE LEAGUE - The team books and all those individual books. Yes, we'll talk about Wonder Woman's pants.

THE DARK - let's go occult!

THE EDGE - Westerns, Wildstorm integration, war, and Harley Quinn's "sluttier than even the sluttiest Harley Quinn Halloween costume" look

YOUNG JUSTICE - Titans! Legions! Static! Blue Beetle's still Jaime and not Ted Kord! LEIFELD!

ETC - female writers! The Society! Various possible retcons that we didn't mention during this podcast!

This is podcast number one. Podcast number dos is BUYERS GUIDE where the panelists will give their quick opinions on The New 52 title-by-title, starting with Justice League and going through each week's titles. It will work just like the "Buy or Sell" segment of ESPN's Around The Horn. Except instead of those two choices you got...

BUY - you're buying this regardless of what anyone says

IFFY - you're interested, but not enough to blindly waste $2.99 (or $3.99) and may need a second opinion.

TRADE - you're getting it, buy you're waiting for the effing graphic novel/trade hardback/paperback to come out instead.

NO - simple as that. Not interested.

The goal is simple. We record either Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday night. Both podcasts, or at least the first one, is released by August 30; if worst comes to worst, podcast number 2 will be out by September 6.

Again, if you want to join, contact me via Twitter (@tetrisdork) or also via the PM system on Toonzone.net - just PM someone named Vyse. HATE BOTH? You should have e-mail: realscratchpad-AT-gmail-DOT-com with "DCnU podcast" or "Infinite Reboots" in the subject header.

BTW, if you are affiliated with The (Real) Scratch Pad, you MIGHT want to tell me if you are participating.

*The hobo talk is a thing. I will be reading the Hobo section of John Hodgman's "Areas of My Expertise" before these podcasts.
