Why did he choose you has his defense attorney, Mr Geir Lippestad?

"It's purely coincidental.

Has Anders Behring Breivik somehow expected a degree of understanding [for his actions] from you as his attorney?

"No, you can't say that. He does however state that society will understand what he did in 60 years time."

Breivik has been through hours of interrogation. Have you noticed any change in him?

"No.

"[...] He's remained the same, calm and preoccupied by details."

He will not plead guilty. Was that your recommendation, or his decision?

"He's been very clear on that. For me it's far too premature to conclude anything in this respect. When investigation is complete, and medical evaluations are in place, I'll be prepared to conduct a full judicial assessment of his guilt."

Did he immediately confess to the events both in Oslo and on Utøya? Was he reluctant at first [...]?

"He confirmed and confessed instantly [when in interrogation]."

Has Breivik himself published the so-called 'manifesto'?

"Yes."

The diary as well [where he in detail describe each day planning the twin-attacks]?

"Yes."

Can you sense concrete aggression on his part against the Norwegian Labour party?

"Yes."

Why?

"Because they're the ones who represents power (read: governance)."

You seem to struggle correlating his messages to you [attorney privilege] to a possible motive? Is that because of law issues, or something else?

"It's difficult to grasp the logic of this. I don't want to elaborate any further."
