Is this the GOP's way of trying to prevent the rise of a third party in opposition to the Status Quo #RulingClass or prevent the rise of viable 3rd existing party candidates?

I believe in 85% of the positions stated in the OFFICIAL REPUBLICAN PLATFORM, but the REPUBLICANS (nor the Democrats for that matter) ARE NOT FOLLOWING THEIR OWN PLATFORM.

HOW STUPID AM I TO KEEP VOTING FOR A PARTY THAT SAYS IT REPRESENTS ME AND THEN DOES NOT. HOW STUPID AM I TO KEEP VOTING FOR A PARTY THAT CREATES A PLATFORM WITH INPUT FROM ITS CONSTITUENTS AND THEN DOES NOT FOLLOW THAT PLATFORM?

WHY CAN'T THE REPUBLICANS RUN CANDIDATES I WANT TO VOTE FOR INSTEAD OF CANDIDATES I HAVE TO VOTE FOR OR ELSE #OBAMA WILL GET RE-ELECTED.

Only those with a vested interest in the current political power structure of American Politics continue to advocate, operate, rail for and vote for any group of politicians that claims to represent them but continues to vote against their constituents' best interest, year after year.

Those were my thoughts. (And, my rant for today.)
