Last week just as we were exiting the Mercury retrograde of mis- communication, technical troubles and mechanical melt downs Neptune went retrograde throwing a bucket of cold water into the faces of complacency and illusion. It was as it were, a wake up call.
Well, get ready! This week Five planets are lining up at 0 degrees. Jupiter AND Uranus will be hanging out in Aries all week. Aries (the ram) is a cardinal sign of fire and rules new beginnings, spring and birth.
Jupiter Conjunct Uranus
Jupiter, The planet of expansion is the fifth planet from the sun and represents (in mythology) Jove, the King of gods; the god of sky and thunder. (Tee Hee) In astrology Jupiter represents high ideals and is known as the "Greater Fortune". Sorta like Santa Clause Jupiter distributes fortune, luck and wealth accordingly. Key words include Lucky Breaks, generosity, Life Purpose, Blessings, optimism and prosperity and rules philosophy, travel and movement. Movement towards your higher ideals, goals and purposes.
Uranus, is the seventh planet from the sun named after the sky god who happens to be Jupiter's grand Pappy. Known as the "Awakener" He rules chaos upheaval and revolution ie sudden shocks. The upheavals released in the wake of Uranus are OFTEN necessary to liberate individuals and groups from restrictive situations.
These two giants are having a family reunion in the sign of Aries, as I've already mentioned the sign of new beginnings. It seems to me a lucky combination. While Uranus awakens and liberates by striking at convention causing shock and chaos, Jupiter is right there by his side inspiring us to move towards our higher ideals.
Typically during a Jupiter Uranus Conjunction we feel restless due to their expansive influences. Imagination and philosophy are key. Insights and breakthroughs are possible especially with regards to careers. Unconventional solutions are also possible, in other words dear readers now is the time to find answers to life's conundrums OUTSIDE the box. And guess what? The planets are supporting you in doing just that.
Mercury is at 0 degrees in Gemini today. Mercury rules Gemini so expect the energies to be pure. Gemini (the twins) is a mutable sign of air and rules communication and idea's. Be ready for some new insight to fall on your noggin from outta the blue. Plus, the elegance of Mercurial Gemini will help you communicate those big idea's to the people around you.
The New moon on Sunday is a time for rebirth... a common theme running through this week's configuration. Luna represents our reflective nature, our receptive subconscious. When the moon is new, her face points due north away from us. The stars appear brighter in the night sky during her absence. This is a time for dreaming. The time to manifest those dreams begin when the side of her face is kissed by the sun, you'll know when that happens because of the bright scythe dangling in the sky a day or so from Sunday.
Venus the bright planet of love will be at 0 degrees of Leo (The Lion) next Monday. Leo is the actor of the zodiac, this will be a fine time to start acting on those insights and dreams from the preceding week.
But WAIT until AFTER Tuesday before going full force!
Mars the fiery planet of war, ruler of Aries and some say Scorpio (sign of sex death and transformation) will be at 0 degrees in Virgo (The Virgin) on Tuesday. Virgo imbues practicality, independence and a critical eye, so expect to do some fine tuning of your grand idea's of Thursday this coming Tuesday.
Be courageous, you can look at this configuration as the forming of a Brand new (even brave?) world.
